The Long Walk Home is now part of the Indian Parliament Library! Ahem!
I am delighted - but of course - and also kinda dazed... this is not an everyday occurrence in the routine of being a scribe :)
As hubby joked, the librarian - with plateglass lenses and rheumy eyes - will say, you have to wait 4 weeks to borrow the book; the Turkish Prime Minister is reading it presently, and after that Kalam is next in line!
Wonderful, eh? Now, back to the writing - shuffle-limp, shuffle-limp, perch, settle in, and tie my ass down until the next 1000 words are done. Ah, the demented pleasures of a writerly life.
