When a Writer is Requested to Commit Murder ...

Yes, it happened, with me. A few months after the release of The Taj Conspiracy, an eager reader wrote to me that he absolutely loved Mehrunisa, and since the book was the first in a trilogy, could I please kill off RP Singh in the next book since he was jealous of the dude who was angling to be Mehrunisa’s love interest?

Now what would a writer do without passion! But that request was declined, politely - which means you get to see the badass ant-Naxal tough cop on your screens, now!

In arid windswept north Afghanistan a stray sound could mean a snapped twig, a startled sheep or an assassin cocking his gun. Where, let’s admit, a man such as Rana Pratap Singh is handy :)

Meet RP Singh, from The Hunt for Kohinoor, Character #4
