Proactive author aims to encourage Nepali writers

Recently, I profiled a Nepali writer-publisher, Sushma Joshi, for the South China Morning Post. Sushma is multi-talented and wears the hats of writer-filmmaker-publisher. Read the piece to know more about this crusading artist!

The piece, carried on 28 August 2011:

  1. Well written!
    It's a great step on Ms. Sushma's part. :)
Please read my friend's blog's a tech blog. he needs some help with promotions...Please promote it on Indivine, if you like it! :)
Here's the link: The Tablet Revolutionary

  2. M&M: Thanks! I went to The Tablet Revolutionary, liked what I read and voted already - but thanks for the recommendation.

  3. Great write up Manreet & all the best wishes for Sushma Joshi. Few years ago, when fight with Maoists had not yet culminated in the polotical deal, I remember going to a big bookshop in centre of Kathmandu and the quality of available fiction books was terrible .. so I can imagine how bad it must have been in other places in the country ..
