Urvashi Butalia on The Long Walk Home: In search of the lost milestone
Urvashi Butalia is the author of the award-winning oral history of Partition, The Other Side of Silence:Voices from the Partition of India. It is a book I read as part of my research into understanding the 20th century history of Punjab. It is particularly gratifying therefore to have her review the book, and like it :-)
