Praise for My Books

"Manreet Sodhi Someshwar is a gifted writer of great promise. I have a gut feeling we have a new star rising in Punjab's literary horizon. She has an excellent command of English and a sly sense of humour."
- Khushwant Singh on The Long Walk Home

"An enjoyable tale of a sassy girl's headlong race up the corporate ladder."

A Daughter's Take on her Mother's Upcoming Thriller!

The Taj Conspiracy -  A Tween's Take!

What does a tween think of The Taj Conspiracy, Book 1 of the Mehrunisa trilogy, by Manreet Sodhi Someshwar. We asked one tween - watch the video to know more!

While I was scratching my head figuring where to start teaching myself how to produce a video, my daughter took the mouse from my hand and proceeded to show me! The stuff they learn at school nowadays - I watched in open-mouthed wonder as she navigated imovies and garage band and demonstrated the art of putting together a trailer.

Spielberg, if you're looking for an enthusiastic young assistant, you know where to head ...

My daughter and I had such fun creating this video. She took the lead on it - right from drafting the storyline, to the visual inserts, and adding the specific audio to each scene. Needless to say, I am a very proud mum :)

On another note, my Publisher has informed me the release date of the book: 21 May 2012. Meanwhile, pre-orders for The Taj Conspiracy have started on several online bookstores in India (Amazon in June). Am sharing some links below:

The book will be on Flipkart soon. Meanwhile, Landmark stores are owned by the same group that own my Publisher - Tata; you should be okay.
