The Man Hong Kong International Literary Festival runs from March 11-19, 2010. The fun part about this event is that despite having grown in size since its inception ten years back, it is still an intimate affair. Most venues can seat 60-70 people, which allows for a close interaction between writers and the audience. And since most venues are located within a small radius, it allows for kangaroo-hops to several events :)
There is an exciting line-up of authors, among them,
yours truly!
My programme - titled '
Playing with Postcolonialism' - is on Sunday 14 March 201, 15:00-16:00, at Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, 7A Kennedy Road. Tash Aw and I will be in conversation with Chris Wood of The Asia Literary Review.
If you are in town, grab your ticket, and I shall see you there!
