Praise for My Books

"Manreet Sodhi Someshwar is a gifted writer of great promise. I have a gut feeling we have a new star rising in Punjab's literary horizon. She has an excellent command of English and a sly sense of humour."
- Khushwant Singh on The Long Walk Home

"An enjoyable tale of a sassy girl's headlong race up the corporate ladder."

In conversation with Daman Singh, the author of Nine by Nine at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi. It was great to be in discussion with Daman. As an author herself she had insightful questions on the art of writing. Also, as a Punjabi - "more by sentiment, than substance" , as she defines it - she had an emotional grasp of the novel's backdrop which made for a very lively talk. Daman is also a lovely person, and amazingly modest for a PM's daughter. But when the PM is Dr. Manmohan Singh, modesty, I guess, is the family's middle name.
