Praise for My Books

"Manreet Sodhi Someshwar is a gifted writer of great promise. I have a gut feeling we have a new star rising in Punjab's literary horizon. She has an excellent command of English and a sly sense of humour."

Bangalore reading of The Long Walk Home

In conversation with Priya Chetty-Rajagopal at the lovely Olive Beach restaurant. We had a different theme for each reading and this being Bangalore and the final leg, it was time for celebration with wine and tapas :-)

  1. Loved the book Manreet. Took it to Colombo with me , and finished it lingeringly over dinner, the pool and the flight back. Intensely satisying read.I shared that with both JP and Priya

My Dad has taken over the book, and says to tell you that he is (like McDonalds)' lowving it' He's lived through the Partition, and feels some of your descriptions and narrations are absolutely on the spot.

Its fabulous reading , and very wise.
I am quite sure there is a movie here.
